On August 8th, the LVL Technology Development Summit and Fuqing Wood Industry ENF New Product Launch were successfully held. On the day of the event, industry experts, partners from across the country, and media guests gathered in Shuyang to discuss new trends in the LVL industry and witness the new ENF achievements of Fuqing LVL.
At the event, Tencent Home and Sina Leju conducted an exclusive interview with Mr. Han Jianchao, Executive Vice President of the Fuqing Group Research Institute. The discussion focused on the advantages of the new ENF door core material and Fuqing's core competitiveness. Below is the content of the interview:
Currently, consumers are increasingly demanding higher quality of life, and for the entire custom home materials market, Fuqing is also pursuing low-formaldehyde and formaldehyde-free solutions. Therefore, we believe that the future core of wooden doors is also formaldehyde-free. As a supplier of wooden door base materials, Fuqing feels a sense of responsibility. Fuqing Wood Industry has been deeply involved in the industry for 33 years and has been the top exporter to Japan for 16 consecutive years. Fuqing is very advanced in basic product processes and product standardization in China.
The new ENF door core material is also committed to achieving low formaldehyde levels in home decoration, air, and products. Its core technology lies in the development of adhesives. Therefore, Fuqing has collaborated with a research institute and three forestry universities to jointly develop formaldehyde-free adhesives. The product fully complies with ENF standards, and we hope that such products can improve consumers’ quality of life.
Fuqing LVL is the earliest in China and the world's largest LVL manufacturing service provider, with a 100,000 square meter LVL building materials production base and an annual production capacity of 300,000 cubic meters of LVL. Therefore, it is very advanced in terms of technology. In addition, Fuqing has obtained export certifications for Australia, the United States, and Japan. A series of strict certifications also urge Fuqing to continuously improve. Whether domestically or internationally, Fuqing strictly adheres to certification requirements in product manufacturing, which is one of Fuqing's core competencies.
The second point is the new product ENF door core material released this time, which has an anti-deformation feature. Anti-deformation is actually a pain point for wooden doors, but Fuqing has a significant advantage in this area because Fuqing can achieve full drying treatment. Achieving full drying treatment is very difficult because it requires steam and heat-conducting oil, and energy consumption makes cost control challenging, so many domestic companies cannot implement it.
Currently, the machine Fuqing uses is a breathing-type dryer that we developed many years ago. The characteristic of this dryer is not only that the moisture content after drying is relatively standard, but also that the veneer is relatively flat after drying. In addition, Fuqing purchased the first Raute veneer sorting machine from a domestic private enterprise, which can sort veneers with consistent performance and then use these consistent veneers in products. This is absolutely leading in the industry.
The third point is that after making large boards, Fuqing will reserve a 7-day curing period and then strip the boards according to customer index requirements.
Fuqing possesses advanced technology, equipment, and strong inventory capabilities.
