According to the standard announcement released by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the National Standardization Administration, the national standard GB/T 20241-2021 "Laminated Veneer Lumber," managed by TC198 (National Technical Committee for Standardization of Wood-based Panels) and co-drafted by Jiangsu Fuxing Wood Industry Co., Ltd., was officially published on November 26, 2021, and implemented on June 1, 2022.
The national standard "Laminated Veneer Lumber" is overseen and executed by TC198 (National Technical Committee for Standardization of Wood-based Panels), with the National Forestry and Grassland Administration as the competent authority. The main drafting units include the Research Institute of Wood Industry of the Chinese Academy of Forestry, Nanjing Forestry University, the National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Wood-based Panels and Bamboo Products, Zhejiang Academy of Forestry, Jiangsu Fuxing Wood Industry Co., Ltd., Guangxi Guigang Hanbang Wood Industry Co., Ltd., and other related drafting enterprises.
Compared to the 2006 version, the new standard for "Laminated Veneer Lumber" introduces classifications based on usage environment and secondary bonding, while removing classifications based on flame retardant treatment. It also adds quality requirements for inner veneers of non-structural laminated veneer lumber and quality requirements for veneers used in structural laminated veneer lumber.

In November, the project "Annual Production of 40,000 Cubic Meters of High-end Multi-layer Plywood" was approved as a provincial Spark Program project and simultaneously as a national Spark Program project. The development of these projects filled a technological gap in the province and provided favorable conditions for the company's survival. To adapt to the globalized economy and international market competition, environmentally friendly products have been listed as the company's main products. The company has fully passed ISO9001 international quality and environmental management system certification, China Environmental Labeling Product Certification, and multiple international certifications, including the JAS certification from Japan's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries.
Jiangsu Fuxing Wood Industry has supplied LVL door core materials, LVL structural materials, and LVL stud materials to large Japanese enterprises such as LIXIL, Panasonic, and Daiken, capturing a 30% market share in Japan. In 2020, Fuxing Wood Industry officially entered the domestic trade market and established strategic partnerships with door brands such as TATA Wooden Doors, Mengtian Wooden Doors, and Rimen Building Materials.
