A new book is like a ship that takes us from narrow places to the vast ocean of life. To enhance the cultural literacy of all employees and improve the soft power of corporate culture, Fuqing Wood Industry held a book sharing session to discuss how to apply what we learn.
“Deep Work: A Guide to Personal Efficiency Management” is a practical tool book for improving workplace skills. The book is divided into nine parts, each analyzing different aspects of a professional career from the dimensions of goals, planning, time, communication, change, team, knowledge, life, and tools. It integrates case studies into its theoretical framework, using a “case appearance—root cause—solution” logic to deeply explore the essence of problems, thereby constructing a comprehensive guide to personal efficiency management.
The collective is the source of strength, and many minds are the cradle of wisdom. Fuqing Wood Industry has always emphasized the power of teamwork. For this book sharing session, all participants were divided into four groups, with representatives from each group sharing their insights, thereby testing the results of team collaboration.
The correct formation of learning habits requires strict and effective supervision. To encourage deep thinking and practical application of what is learned, four Fuqing members acted as representatives to inspect each group's progress in studying the book.
Reading can make one wise, but reading without reflection may lead to parroting others' opinions or becoming a slave to books, yielding little benefit. In this sharing session, representatives from each group shared the application of the book's nine dimensions in their work from multiple perspectives, guiding everyone to think about how to apply what they have learned.
Exams are the touchstone for testing learning outcomes. To understand everyone’s grasp of the book, an on-site assessment was organized, with members from each group randomly selected to answer questions.
Without cooperation, failure is inevitable; with unity, success is shared. After intense competition, the Ace Team emerged as the champion of this book sharing session, demonstrating the power of teamwork.
In the summary of this meeting, General Manager Hu Yun delivered a speech centered on “Deep Thinking - Customer-Centric.”
He provided a comprehensive analysis of the current market conditions in China, Japan, and Australia, pointing out that the market is like a battlefield;
