On 8 August, Fuqing Wood held the "LVL Technology Development Summit and Fuqing Wood ENF New Product Launch" at Shuyang Honour International Hotel with the theme of "New Upgrade for Environmental Protection and Winning Core Future". Li Jiafeng, President of China Timber and Wood Products Circulation Association, Zhou Xiaoyan, Professor of Nanjing Forestry University and Academician of International Wood Science Academy, Wang Ruijuan, Marketing Director of Beijing Green Forestry Certification Co., Ltd. and Deputy Secretary General of the National Innovation Alliance for Wood Product Quality and Safety Certification and other experts and scholars visited the scene, discussed the technical development of the LVL industry and the latest landing practice with many friends of FQW and witnessed the new products of FQW together. The new product of Fuqing Wood "ENF grade anti-deformation LVL door core material" was launched.
Founded in 1990, Fuqing Wood has been focusing on panel manufacturing for more than 30 years, adhering to the deep ploughing profession, focusing on strategic positioning, starting from the raw materials, adhering to the quality of the same, green, low-carbon and environmental protection long-termism, and developing into one of the few high-quality panels in the country's R & D and production enterprises.
At present, Fuqing LVL has formed a supply chain of raw materials from Russia, Europe and North America, and is mainly engaged in structural LVL, non-structural LVL and structural plywood. It is the first company in China to set up a 12-metre fully automated production line for LVL, and adopts the production process of TAYLOR phenol-formaldehyde resin adhesive, the insect-resistant and anticorrosive process, and the six-surface full-coverage drenching paint process. The annual output of Fuqing LVL reaches 300,000 cubic metres, which has been sold well in Japan for 16 years.
Zhou Xiaoyan, academician of International Wood Institute and professor of Nanjing Forestry University, said in the theme sharing of LVL industry development trend report that LVL has a lot of advantages such as uniform material, light weight and high strength, flexible specification, stable size, anti-seismic vibration damping, strong design, good economy, and so on, and it is sure to have a broad prospect benefiting from the factors such as national policy and market welcome. And Fuqing Wood's efforts and investment in material selection, technology and self-research of high-quality environmentally friendly adhesives and many other aspects, so that the LVL product firmness, anti-aging, anti-fading and anti-yellowing, plasticity, as well as waterproofing, corrosion and other aspects of the market to obtain a significant development, and more competitive.
Fuqing LVL is the first to obtain domestic ENF certification for LVL products, with emissions far below the standard limit.
Healthy homes start with environmental protection. As a crucial raw material for wooden home products, board materials play a vital role in the environmental friendliness of the finished products. The new national standard GB/T36900-2021, officially implemented in October 2021 (i.e., the “Formaldehyde Emission Classification for Wood-Based Panels and Finishing Products” standard), introduced the “ENF grade,” which limits formaldehyde emissions to ≤0.025mg/m³. According to Wang Ruijuan, Marketing Director of Beijing Green Forest Certification Co., Ltd. and Deputy Secretary-General of the National Innovation Alliance for Quality and Safety Certification of Wood Products, this limit standard has reached the ranks of world-leading standards. The test results for Fuqing’s ENF grade anti-deformation LVL door core material actually achieved 0.017mg/m³, significantly lower than the ENF grade limit.
